Nathan Bertram-Cooper returns to the Bridge

We are extremely pleased to welcome back Nathan Bertram-Cooper who returns to the Bridge from Braintree Town.

Nathan joined the Urchins back in September 2015 and became a key member of the Hornchurch defence. Not content with stopping goals, Nathan also chipped in at the other end, with sixteen goals. He was voted both 2017-18 Players’ player of the season and Supporters’ player of the season and made his 100th appearance for the club in the FA Trophy replay against Thamesmead Town on 10th October 2017. He was club captain, but missed the majority of the 2018 season after sustaining an injury in October 2018, and did not play again until August 2019. When the 2019 season was curtailed in November, Nathan joined Hemel Hempstead Town on dual registration (scoring two goals in nine appearances before their season was also curtailed), though he returned to Hornchurch to take his place in the squad for FA Trophy matches. He joined Braintree Town at the start of the current season, making 13 appearances.

Welcome back Nathan.
